Recurring operations

Some operations are coming more regularly than others: electricity invoice, house rent or mortgage, etc. Do you always remember them? With Sesterce, you don't need to!

A recurring operation is an operation that Sesterce will automatically create for you at the instructed date and recurrence.

Recurring operation is a Premium feature.

  1. Create an operation as you would normally do; see the Operation article
  2. Within the operation edition page, click on the recurrence to change it.
  3. Save your operation

Sesterce will create this operation at the defined date and at the next occurrence.

You can choose between multiple frequencies:

  • Never (no recurrence, a normal operation)
  • Every day
  • Every week
  • Every two weeks
  • Every month
  • Every three months
  • Every six months
  • Every year

If you select the operation date as today or earlier, one regular operation will be created at the given date, and Sesterce will only create the future ones automatically.

Example:
On the 1st of March 2021, I create a recurring operation for the 8th of January 2021 with a monthly recurrence.
The operation will indeed be created for the 8th of January; then, the next automatic one will be on the 8th of March. The 8th of February will not be created automatically.
